It's finally here! 🍂🌙

Today is the 'official' launch of the autumn chapbook series, and all pre-orders are winging their way into the world right now! A huge thank you to those of you who have supported this collection, whether by placing an order or sharing the word - it has been a winding, wonderful, complex journey to birth these into the world, and I am so grateful to you all for following along.

And, of course, a huge amount of gratitude to the four authors, who have trusted The Wildheart Press with their words...

One week today, the Autumn Equinox will arrive. One week today, our autumn series of chapbooks will also be sent roaming into the world.

To honour the occasion, we'll be joining together for an online launch next Thursday 26th September, 7pm (UK time). There'll be a bit of chat from me (Eleanor), and the chapbook authors will be there to read from their work and answer any questions you might have. And it's free to all! I'm keeping this simple and to the point today! I've got three things I want to share with you…  

1. The autumn chapbooks are heading to print very soon, and pre-orders are so important to help gauge how many to print. If you've been thinking about ordering but haven't got around to it yet - now's the time!

2. Anyone who pre-orders a chapbook will also be invited to our online launch party! Save the date - Thursday 26th September, 7pm - and join me to welcome the four authors, hear them speak, and ask any burning questions you might have.

3. Soulbook is now half full! There are a maximum of 10 places for this online programme, and 5 have already gone. If you feel called to listen to the voice in the shadows this autumn and winter, I invite you to join us. We begin October 9th, and I really can't wait!

Today I want to invite you into the publishing cave with me. I want to roll back the entrance stone and light a candle for you to see into this murky, shadowy world that so often remains out of sight. Because although it can seem like a process with so many rules, regulations and expectations, it's actually full of life, full of vitality and creative potential.

This week I've been sending emails and voice notes a-plenty to the author of one of the autumn chapbooks, so that it is visually ready to birth into the world. We have been back and forth, musing on which cover strikes the resonant visual note, and which expresses the beating heart of its inner pages; what we've realised is that multiple images (and therefore multiple covers) suit the expansive, rich quality of this chapbook. And why should there only be one?

So here's a question for you - out of the four covers below, which would you pick off the shelf? Which speaks to your soul?
