Face to Face Friday đź–¤ I havent done one of these in a while

After a lifetime of obesity starting at just 3 years old, I lost over 600 pounds.
I’ve beaten cancer twice.
I found God.
And along the way, I finally found myself.

The truth is, you don’t need endless motivation or superhuman willpower.
You get tired.
You get fed up.
And you decide you’re not done yet.
For me, that turning point was finding Jesus.

I’ll never forget an ER doctor telling me I was a waste of medical resources.
If I had believed that lie, I wouldn’t be here today.

My family has been called in more times than I can count to say their goodbyes.
There were nights they were told I wouldn’t make it till morning.
But here I am.

Still standing.
Still breathing.
Still believing.

Never let anyone tell you what God can’t do with your life.
Never let someone else’s words become your truth.

It’s never too late.
If I’m still here, there’s hope for you too. 💙

Between the two of us, we’ve lost almost 1,000 pounds 🎉🔥 but even more than that, we’ve shed doubt, fear, pain, and old versions of ourselves that no longer served us 🦋 Look how far God has brought us 🙏 Look how strong we’ve become 💪✨
