This is a touching story about a 10-year old boy who my mum and I came across outside of a shop in Karachi. He greeted my mother as we entered the shop, but we stopped when we noticed that he had “Ronaldo-styled” hair. My mum was quite impressed and she asked his name; his name was Kamran. He asked my mum if she could buy him chicken from KFC. My mum agreed instantaneously seeing the innocent look on his face. We took him to KFC and made him sit on the table. He was very overwhelmed, he seemed as if he was the luckiest boy on the planet. We asked him about his family he said he has 3 brothers and 4 sisters but he said his dad was an addict so he doesn’t really help in raising income for the house.
Kamran sells tissues for a living and earns about Rs.300 a day, his whole family depends on him. He also mentioned that everyday at 6 o’clock some older boys come and steal or sn**ch whatever money he has. We encouraged him look for a proper job, like work at a restaurant as a waiter. He said he would but no one would hire him because he’s not even educated. Despite the difficulties he is a good kid at heart. He did not finish his meal because he said he would share it with his cousin who sells tissues with him.
If you’re willing to donate and help Kamran, please feel free to contact us!

I can never get over this. We need to do something, before they aim for other schools, our schools.

We all know what is happening in our country since the elections...we weren't united. We have been having different opinions since that time and in fact since a longer time than that. United we do stand, it's true. And this incident has brought us all closer as a nation. We have all been sad since then, I saw my own mother crying a number of times. I cried myself in the morning while going to school. Just imagine what they went through, the way they would have cried begging those monsters to let them go. How would they have felt when the bullet went through them? The thought itself is horrible...
But those tyrants who apparently kill in the way of Allah did not stop and think even once about what they were doing..they didn't see the innocent faces crying to be saved. They saw their own good...
How many times can we abuse them? How many times can we curse them? They won't stop..
But even we won't. This is our country, they were the future of our country. Studying to move ahead and succeed. We will stand together and fight for the good, fight against bad, and fight for those dead since the past six to eight years.
We will make our country successful. We will take care of it forever.
This is our country and those brats cannot take it away from us. We will fight till they don't surrender and don't beg us to stop. And when they do we will forgive them. That day they will learn what wrong they did and that will be enough torture for them...
That day will come. We will bring it together. Because United Pakistan will never fall.
