Ojorojo - Leyenda 🌟 a diverse group of musicians, including Setsu Fujii (Japan), Waldo Chavez (El Salvador), and Desmar Guevara, Raúl Romero, & Alberto Toro (Puerto Rico), Juan Solares ( Dominican Republic), and Emiliano Marentes (Mexico), formed Ojorojo. Influenced by the jazz greats, crafted a fusion of jazz and progressive styles.
Joined by Latin Grammy winner engineer Rodolfo Vazquez and producer Xavier López, a friend and former classmate , they recorded "Ojorojo: Expedition," a testament to their enduring creativity and friendship. Percussionists Anthony Carrillo and Carly Maldonado were invited to overdub on a few tracks.
The album blends jazz, Latin, Afro-Caribbean rhythms and , celebrating celebrating resilience and camaraderie.

Sonic Interventions "Do You Remember ?" 🇩🇪 Sonic Interventions is a diaspora-futuristic band of interdisciplinary artists from five continents. Emerged in 2020 from the transcultural Berlin Jazz scene, the group unites diverse languages, instruments, rhythms and dance for collective meditation and healing, improvisation and groove.

Since then, the band has established itself as one of Berlin's most acclaimed underground Jazz collectives. Known for inclusive live spectacles, in which moments of meditation and trance rise into heavy grooves, traditional rhythms of the African and Latin American continents coalesce with urban styles such as Hip Hop, Trap and House. The band combines poetry and dance inspired by the cosmos, ancient alchemy and world mythologies.

Mike Casey - "Valencia" 🌟 Five years in the making & originally his masters thesis while studying at Berklee's selective Valencia Spain campus in 2019 for his graduate degree in Contemporary Performance & Music Production, 'Valencia' - Mike's ninth release since 2017 overall - showcases him moving far beyond the polar opposite sax/bass/drums trio & electronic/hip hop formats his output to date has favorite. Instead, 'Valencia' opts for an expansive, original, inquisitive sonic view into the self-imposed challenge of mixing disparate influences from styles around the world compositionally without sacrificing the spontaneity or edge of jazz in the performance or sound, or Mike's own voice as an artist, composer, or improviser.

krajenski. "B-3 Vol. 2" 🇩🇪 A journey - that's how musicians like to describe working on a new album. In the case of of krajenski's new LP "B-3 Vol. 2" it really was a journey. Many ideas were born and discarded, several sessions were played for inspiration, plenty of songs were produced in advance - the journey is the journey.

Then the decisive missing link: krajenski. was able to find the two musicians and producers Dirk Berger (Peter Fox, Seed, Marteria) and Samon Kawamura (Joy Denalane, Max Herre, Till Brönner) for this project. And suddenly the production took a completely different magical turn - away from a "band album" towards a musical experiment.

"B-3 Vol.2" is not just an instrumental album: Nené Vàsquez from Mo' Horizons recites a hymn to the most legendary of all Hammond organs and MOORE, a rising star from Italy, enhances two further tracks with his voice.

Tio Chorinho - Tempestuoso 🇨🇦 The recently-released sophomore album Tempestuoso (Lulaworld Records), from Toronto group Tio Chorinho, is 10 tracks of new and classic Brazilian choro music, bursting with spirit and soul, and featuring a tour de force appearance by powerhouse vocalist Flavia Nascimento.
, the "New Orleans Jazz of Brazil", combines European and Afro-Brazilian influences. It's an infectious, popular style whose universal appeal belies its musical complexity. The album includes five unique compositions by guitarist Andre Valerio, as well as classics from giants of the choro genre, Jacob do Bandolim, Waldir Azevedo, and Luiz Americano.

Mark Kelso's The Mystic Isle Project: The Antrim Coast 🇨🇦 The Mystic Isle Project is three-time JUNO nominee, Mark Kelso’s 8th release as a leader. It’s also his most personal recording to date. The 11 songs featured are all dedicated to various places that Mark remembers fondly from his youth growing up in Northern Ireland.
Joining Mark in his all-star quartet are Luis Deniz on alto and soprano sax, Mike Downes on acoustic bass, Ewen Farncombe on piano, engineered by Jeff Wolpert and released on Roberto Occhipinti’s Jazz label, Modica Music.

Lenora Zenzalai Helm & Tribe Jazz Orchestra - "For the Love of Big Band" ❤️ The Tribe Jazz Orchestra (TJO) is an ensemble of musicians led by vocalist/composer/educator Lenora Zenzalai Helm with a unique approach to the music of the big band tradition. Representing one of the few vocalist and woman-led big bands, TJO features a diverse amalgam of the top men and women performers in Jazz; a combination of jazz orchestra and modern chamber ensemble, and features arrangements from trumpeter Cecil Bridgewater.
