সাতার শিখুন, জীবন বাঁচান। এমন স্লোগানকে সামনে রেখে ব্যক্তি উদ্যোগে দুই শতাধিক শিশুকে সাঁতার শিখিয়েছেন বরগুনার জেল সুপার আমজাদ হোসেন। প্রতিদিন তাঁর কাছে সাঁতার শেখাতে ছোট ছোট শিশুদের নিয়ে ভিড় করছেন বাবা মায়েরা।

ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ক্যাম্পাসে নির্মম নির্যাতনের শিকার হয়ে প্রাণ হারানো মানসিক ভারসাম্যহীন তোফাজ্জল হোসেনের বাবা মা ভাই কেউ বেঁচে নেই। জন্ম থেকে মৃত্যু পযর্ন্ত দুঃখ শোকেই ভরা ছিলো তাঁর জীবন। জীবনের সমাপ্তিটাও হয়েছে যার নির্মম মৃত্যু যন্ত্রণার মধ্য দিয়ে।
