Charles James Kirk has become the Horst Wessel of the MAGA cult. Horst Wessel was a member of the National-Socialist German Workers Party (Hitlers Party) in the Weimar Republic (Germany 1919-1933). He was killed by a member of the Communist Party of Germany in 1930. For the N**i propaganda, Horst Wessel became a martyr. His march song was selected as the Party March and became the second anthem of N**i Germany in 1933. Charles James Kirk has become a martyr of the American far-right. His assassination is already turned into a propaganda weapon, in use by the Trump regime to strengthen itself against any criticism of its undemocratic attacks on migrants, women and American society.

Revolutionary socialists reject any capitalist leader to serve as interim prime minister. Workers and youth cannot rely on the failed structures of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. Democratic councils of working class people must be set up to replace the collapsed government. Control by ordinary people is essential. If the youth follow the lines of capitalist leaders, they will lose again and again! They cannot trust anybody linked to the UML, MC, NCP or their smaller coalition parties. It does not matter if they call themselves ”communist” or ”socialist”. Reality remains that they failed workers and youth. They have failed to build a socialist Nepal and therefore should be rejected. Also needed is the formation of a new Revolutionary Party for a Socialist Nepal. A true revolutionary party build by the working class for the working class.

Revolutionary socialists are calling for the establishment of workers' councils. These should take over the power of the capitalist state and ultimately put an end to the corrupt Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. There needs to be a revolutionary constitutional assembly of workers and farmers that can draft a socialist constitution. However, a party of the working class is needed for that, which Nepal currently lacks. All these self-proclaimed ''Marxist-Leninists'' have never given power to the working class. Meanwhile, looting is taking place and the power of the government seems to be crumbling. Houses of CPN-UML and NCP leaders have been ransacked and set on fire, indicating the immense disdain for these capitalist politicians.

The right-wing is back in power, in the Plurinational State of Bolivia. From 2006 until 2025, the country was ruled by the ”Movement for Socialism – Political Instrument for the Sovereignty of the Peoples”, known as MAS. Its most famous leader was Evo Morales, the president from 2006 until 2019. Morales improved the lives of native Bolivians and created more equality. But he never abolished capitalism and while in power, Morales made many bureaucratic moves that allowed the ruling class to remove him in a coup. MAS won the election after the right-wing coup, but it alienated itself from the working class. This allowed the right-wing to fully win the elections.

On 21st August 1940 Stalinist agent Ramon Mercader assassinated Leon Trotsky. Trotsky had been amongst the principal leaders of the 1917 Russian Revolution. His role was so central that it was reported that many workers believed ‘Lenin Trotsky’ to be one man. He had led the Red Army to defeat the Tsarist ‘White Armies’ and 180,000 strong armies of intervention from 16 capitalist powers between 1918 and 1922 securing the workers’ state.

We are now in the fourth year of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The Taliban state has proven to be a theocratic mess. As the western puppet regime was dismantled, the new emirate build itself on dogmatic interpretation of sharia law and the totalitarian commands of Supreme Leader Hibatullah Akhundzada. Poverty and desperation is daily reality for millions. Despite calling for uprisings and resistance, the anti-Taliban opposition has failed to create a democratic front for the liberation of Afghanistan. The reasons are clear, they lacked credibility as their members are all linked to the corrupt; Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, set up by western imperialism in 2001 after the collapse of the first Taliban emirate.

In Bolivia, the ''Movement towards Socialism'' has lost the election massively. Less then 3% did MAS win in this historic defeat. Revolutionary socialists are not surprised. MAS failed to build socialism, worse it never expropriated the ruling class and even after winning the elections in 2022, they kept the capitalist system alive angering millions. Now the right-wing is in full control of Bolivia again. The MAS era is over and not because of socialism, but because the failed social-demcoratic model employed by types like Evo Morales and Hugo Chavez failed. Bolivia needs a socialist alternative, one that brakes with capitalism.

On 15 August 2021, the puppet regime of the Americans in Kabul collapsed. This was a major defeat for American imperialism, which had build the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, to serve as a pro-western state in the country. In the year following the collapse of the Ghani government, the Taliban have restored their totalitarian theocracy. Although their propaganda claimed otherwise, there is no moderate Taliban. They are a reactionary group with a dogmatic Islamist agenda. Afghanistan is now suffering even more, which could lay the seeds for a popular revolution.

A year has passed since students and workers overthrew the government of Sheikh Hasina in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Revolutionary socialists warned back then, that nothing would change if members of the capitalist class would be allowed to remain in power. This happened as 85 year old Muhammad Yunus was installed as ”chief advisor”. Meanwhile the head of state remains Mohammed Shahabuddin, who served the Awami League. In 12 months since the overthrow of Hasina, we must conclude that nothing has changed fundamentally. This is because revolutionary change cannot be expected from capitalist politicians like Yunus or Shahabuddin.

Christian Smalls is a American labour activist, who was kidnaped by the State of Israel in international waters on 27 July 2025. Smalls is part of the July 2025 Gaza Freedom Flotilla. He was onboard the ship Handala, which departed from Syracuse, Italy on 13 July 2025. It carried a diverse group of activists, medics, lawyers, journalists and humanitarian supplies. As was expected, the Israeli Navy ignored international laws and captured the Handala. Christian Smalls was choked and kicked in his legs by seven Israeli police officers when he refused to sign his deportation papers. As of 31 July, Smalls is still held in the State of Israel. We demand his release and condemn the criminal Israeli regime for its piracy and illegal capture of the Handala.

Donald Trump, the far-right president of the USA was a close friend of pe*****le Jeffry Epstein. Like Trump, Epstein was a member of the ruling class. He made his millions in banking and financial consulting. However Jeffery Epstein did not became famous for his capitalist deals. In 2008 Epstein was sentenced to eighteen months in prison for having s*x with a minor. But because he was rich, Epstein was housed in a private wing of the Palm Beach County Stockade. He was freed after only 13 months. Less then 10 years later, Jeffry Epstein was arrested again on federal charges for the s*x trafficking of minors. He died in jail, su***de was claimed. Donald Trump knew him and in the 1990’s was part of Epstein’s close circle of rich capitalists who enjoyed teenage girls for s*x.
