Earlier this year, I said goodbye to my grandfather—my biggest cheerleader, my unwavering supporter, and the man who believed in me long before the world caught on.
My grandparents were the reason I published my very first book. They invested not just their resources, but their love, encouragement, and faith into my dreams. Losing my grandfather left an ache I can’t put into words… but it also lit a fire in my heart to honor him in the most meaningful way I could.
Together with my younger siblings (Darby Whitmore & Royal Whitmore), we created a children’s book in his memory—a tribute not only to him, but to all the elders in our family who have shaped us with their wisdom, kindness, and unconditional love. This book is our way of saying thank you… before it’s too late.
