We are so very lucky to have the absolutely wonderful and amazingly talented NICK PITARRA as one of our guests of honor this year! He was an early friend and supporter of The Eastern Rim Funny Book & Vintage Con for which we cannot thank him enough! He is definitely an artist to watch! So, come and meet Nick and get to know this star on the rise, before being the 300th person in line to see him is an early spot!

Nick Pitarra is an Eisner nominated cartoonist living near San Antonio, Texas. He is best known for his work on the New York Times best selling The Manhattan Projects, co-created with writer Jonathan Hickman. Nick has worked for Marvel, IDW, Boom Studios, and is currently illustrating Leviathan from Image Comics with writer John Layman. Nick’s artistic heroes are Moebius, Geof Darrow, Frank Quitely, and Seth Fisher, his style blends all those influences and filters them through a uniquely warped sensibility.
Nick had a wildly successful crowdfunding Zoop campaign where he garnered $210,927 dollars in support of his creator owned, DIY, magnum opus,
