"Knock, knock..."

One that feels both gentle and urgent, like a friend reaching out just when you thought no one noticed. Anxiety has a way of creeping in like an uninvited guest, tapping on the edges of your peace until the sound becomes impossible to ignore. Some days, it's just background noise. Other times, it barges in, stealing your focus, your breath, your calm.

But what if we opened the door differently? Not with fear or resistance, but with curiosity? Anxiety, for all its weight, often carries a message—something beneath the surface, whispering, "I need you to look at this." Maybe it's a fear you've been sidestepping or a reminder to slow down when life feels too fast. You pour your heart into something, thinking, this time, it’ll work out, only to watch it unravel. It stings, doesn’t it? And that sting doesn’t stay isolated. It grows roots, digging into your peace and sprouting vines of stress that wrap tightly around your mind.

It’s not just about what happened, though. It’s the what-ifs, the imagined outcomes, the spiraling thoughts of was it my fault? Pain has a funny way of amplifying itself, especially when paired with frustration. And anxiety? It’s always waiting in the wings, ready to play the lead role in your inner monologue.

But here’s a thought: what if unmet expectations weren’t the end of the story? What if they were signposts—unwelcome, sure, but guides nonetheless?
