A modern-day heroine of The Scarlet Letter, her own very personal Robin Hood, or simply a very fashionable ex-con? Anna Delvey has always existed somewhere between reality and fiction. Part fraudster, part socialite, part myth, she turned self-invention into an art form and even her downfall became part of the story. While most people would hide an ankle monitor, Delvey turned hers into a statement item. What was designed as a symbol of surveillance became a signature accessory; her very own scarlet letter. Because sometimes, the most iconic thing about a myth is the mark it leaves behind.

Köpüren dalgalar, yosun kokusu, asla anlayamayacağımız bir şeyleri birbirlerine anlatan öfkeli martıların sesi… İstanbul’u İstanbul yapan şeyler bunlar. Emrecan’ın tarzı da İstanbul gibi ikiliklerden besleniyor. Bir yandan Karl Lagerfeld Chanel kızı enerjisini taşırken, bir yandan da Eminönü’nün filtresiz gerçekliğini sahiplenebiliyor. Şehir onu kendisinin yapmıyor. O, şehri kendisinin kılıyor. Siyah, gereksiz pahalı kahve ve ‘beni düzeltmeye çalışma’ bunlar tarzının baharatları… Risk almaktan çekinmiyor; kaosu estetikle, çelişkileri karakterle buluşturuyor. Ortaya çıkan şey ise tamamen kendisine ait bir dil.

Emrecan’ın look’u, puantiyeleri, altın detayları ve tam kararında kaosuyla İstanbul’un ruhunu üzerinde taşıyor.
