Hello everyone.
The time has come for us to close the General Store. Sometimes life just takes us in a different direction and that time has come. We have SO enjoyed spending Friday afternoons from the 7DX7 Studio with you, and all of the engagement throughout the week too. Y’all really are the best!
When we embarked on this journey, we didn’t know what we were doing or what to expect. To say that we learned so much, and it exceeded our expectations, would both be understatements. We’ve had an absolute blast! According to our producer, Mike, most podcasts last an average of six months. Ours lasted THREE TIMES that long! Only by the grace of God, and because of support from great local businesses, and YOU, did that happen! We couldn’t have done it without you, nor would we have wanted to.
We have so many people to thank. Shannon Richardson, who helped us secure many of our sponsoring businesses. Christine Flynn/Farmer’s Insurance agent, who was our FIRST sponsor. They literally had NO SKIN in the game, but were ALL IN from the beginning. Mike’s knowledge and talents are absolutely second to none. He and Carter are just the best team to have in your corner. They showed up every week with a great spirit, and willingness to serve. Which is incredible considering Mike lost his mom, his wife’s dad, his own dad within the span of a few months, AND was building a home during most of our time together, too. But most of all, their love for Jesus, and their FIRE for the Word is awe-inspiring. They are the kind of people you want on your team. So we were very blessed when they agreed to take this podcast on. We will never be able to thank them enough.
Curt, Mark, Bill, and I have been a ‘crew’ for 22 years between radio and this podcast. Many of you followed us from Coptalk to the General Store. It’s been a wonderful journey. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If it’s The Lord’s Will, we’ll see you around, either on this side of eternity, or the other. God bless you for spending your precious time with us at the General Store. We love you more. ❤️
