The atmosphere was electric at the South Point Arena & Equestrian Center as the 2025 The Run For A Million Cutting Horse Challenge unfolded before a packed crowd. With $200,000 on the line and a field of ten elite qualifiers, the competition promised intensity—and it delivered.
Setting the tone from the very beginning, Draw #1 rider Michael Cooper, National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Hall of Famer and $5 Million Rider, laid down a masterful run aboard Bella Louella (Metallic Rebel x Catty Louella, by High Brow Cat), a mare owned by Michael and Jennifer Cooper.
Their commanding score of 226 held strong through the entire class, earning them the championship title and etching another prestigious win into Cooper’s storied career.
Bella Louella’s performance combined precision, grit, and cow sense, a testament to her breeding and Cooper’s seasoned expertise in the pen.
The 2025 Cutting Horse Challenge was part of the larger Run For A Million event, celebrating the best in western performance horse sports.
