Is this quote saying you can’t come to God with what’s on your mind? No, not at all. Are we going to get our salvation snatched away if we’ve done this or do it in the future? No, not at all.

But is this a habit we should have? NO, NOT AT ALL.

Jesus told us to begin the Lord’s Prayer with “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.”(Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ ‭ESV‬)

God’s Name is to be HALLOWED. It is to be revered as HOLY. When we pray, we are to recognize His holiness.

Yes, we can come to God with everything, and we should (Philippians 4:6). However, let’s not forget that God is holy and we must first and always recognize Him as Lord.

Ever feel like things have gotten so bad that there’s no point in praying anymore? 😞 I certainly have… 🥴

As I pondered this recently, 🤔 someone (non-coincidentally) asked me, “if you saw someone injured in a car accident, would you think, ‘they’ll probably die, so I won’t call 911.’” Would you do that? NO! 😦

We have a direct line to the only One who can help us, and that direct line is prayer. 🙏

So even when you feel like it’s past the point of no return, DON’T STOP PRAYING! 🙌

You are communicating with the ALL-POWERFUL, ALL-KNOWING, MIRACLE-WORKING GOD! ❤️
