More importantly, I believe we’re witnessing a massive, global uprising of the Creative Entrepreneurial Class leading the “New Economy” – new industries characterized by cutting edge technology, hyper-growth and globally connected cultures. And while I’ve been fortunate t

o have experienced several wins throughout my digital and entrepreneurial endeavors, I’ve also taken pride in my losses. I created H&DF for 2 Reasons: 1.) To bring awareness to the world's creators and learn about their journeys to success. I want to tell their stories before the acquisitions, before the buyouts and before the IPO's, and 2.) I want to contribute to the new economy by giving back. I want to share my crazy and true experiences in business, entrepreneurship and digital marketing, as well as give you as many tips and tools as possible to grow your business, brand or entrepreneurial endeavors in a digitally connected world.

Follow my personal account 👉🏼 // Loving your decisions comes from having a stronger relationship with yourself, your needs and your values.

Feel into what’s right for you. Learn to trust yourself and you do so by practicing decisions that feel right for you.

Look at what works for your life. Look at what doesn’t serve you.

Look at what triggers you. Look at what heals you.

Look at where you feel most excited to learn, expand and connect. Look at what doesn’t resonate at all or has lost meaning to you.

Look at how people treat you. What feels right? What doesn’t. When you come across genuine people, what made them genuine and how did that feel? When you come encounter disingenuous people, what did you learn?

Our decisions our cultivated by our experiences and that also means understanding the experiences we didn’t like instead of repeating them. I will tell you, the more you place an emphasis on clarity and doing what serves your highest and best self, the easier you’ll find yourself in flow.

One of the greatest compliments is acknowledging the gift of someone else’s impact on your life. Be sure to let them know how grateful you are.

There are no coincidences. We answer others prayers when the timing calls for it, and we receive others as answers to our prayers when the timing calls for it... in everything in life.

Follow my personal account // Moral of the story... You come first. Invest in yourself.

Invest in learning what you don’t know from people you admire.

Invest in learning your health and protecting / respecting your body.

Invest in understanding your finances and having a good relationship with money and all the parts you don’t know.

Invest in learning who you are so you can be a better partner for a loved one, a family, a community.

If everything takes time, take the time to put you first.

Follow my personal account // I see so many people concerned with the outcome more than the process and I get them. I used to be that way.

When I was concerned with the “outcomes” more, I found myself anxious.

I worried about timing.

I had all kinds of expectations for how things should look.

I felt like time was moving so fast and I wasn’t seeing the results to match.

I also found myself at times distracted by what I “thought” I saw being produced from the outside world and how I had to measure up to it.

Now, at least shortcuts were NEVER in my DNA. I never had a problem doing the work, but when you focus on the outcome over the process, you can be distracted by WHICH WORK YOU SHOULD BE FOCUSING ON.

In time, I fell in love with the process.

It’s the process that you truly discover who you are, what you need and want, how you approach everything and everyone, what work needs the most attention, what details need to be added and how can you create more leverage for your life.

Focusing on the process will give you your life. This is where you create it. It requires you to be honest, directional and clear, to which you gain all three of those things simply by removing your focus on the outcomes, slowing yourself down to decide on what you need (and not from other’s expectations or influences) and building from this space.

The process nurtures your creativity, harnesses your leadership abilities, elevates your personal growth, instills better habits, creates more clarity and direction and produces the life you know you’re capable of.

Don’t be afraid of the process... Lean into it.

Follow my personal account // Well, first, Happy New Year to you all. I took a small break from posting but there will be a lot more this year.

Second, I want to be very clear, direct and honest with you. You have only one option out of the f**kery and inappropriate behavior. That option is to...

➠ Rise from wherever you are at.

➠ Take accountability and responsibility for your life.

➠ Put you first; your health, finances, career, relationships will thank you.

➠ Stop believing everything you see, read, hear and are given.

➠ Start critically thinking.

➠ Write down your values.

➠ Write down your morals.

➠ Stop pointing fingers.

➠ It doesn’t fu***ng matter what others are doing. It matters what you are
contributing by your presence.

➠ Stop judging.

➠ Stop with the entitlement.

➠ Stop comparing. You might be comparing to someone who doesn’t even like themselves.

➠ Stop relying on external factors to save you. It ain’t coming. You’ve been the answer all along.

➠ Stop acting from emotions. A big problem with everything right now is one emotion is triggering another’s emotions and so on. This is why many are controlled... because of their emotions.

➠ Your job is to ground yourself so you can make decisions from a clear, objective and discerning place and not a narrative that was placed on you.

➠ Honor integrity. It’s pretty much the only indicator for what’s real, what’s fake, what’s worth your time and energy and what and whom you should trust.

If there was ever a time to step into who you are deep down inside, NOW is the time.

My father (who passed away last year) told me something really important 7 years ago. He saw I was at a major crossroad. Up until that point, I had taken care of everyone else but me and it ended up putting me in a really rough spot. He said, “If you were ever going to make your run... to stand up and create what’s right for you and put you first, now is the time. You’re out of time and you’ve gotta do this for you.”

You’ve all gotta do this for you.

Follow my personal account 👈🏼 -- Sit with people who want to see you do better, challenge you to think about what your role is in everything that is happening to you or for you and help you to see what you already are and not where you’re comfortable.

Create a circle that defines your integrity, your values, your goals in life, your creativity, your flow, your accountability, your responsibility and your growth and you’ll never be confused or unclear about where you’re heading.

Follow my personal account 👈🏼 // Learn to “read” the whole book. It’s our novel that has all the answers, not the cliff notes. And as much as we want to ONLY use the cliff notes, they won’t help the bigger story.

Don’t be afraid of your story. Lean into it.

Treat each page as another experience.

Treat each character as a person to learn from.

Treat each word as something to observe.

Treat each chapter as another year around the sun.

Create your story by living it, thoroughly and under the guise of understanding all of the parts... especially the ones you worry about taking a further look at.

The book can change.

The story can end in any way you want.

Just don’t skip the chapters.

Follow my personal account 👈🏼-- These two may seem diametrically opposing, but I assure you they are not.

Discipline and freedom go hand in hand.

At first, people see the word discipline and automatically dread the work. Let me tell you something, being free has a responsibility. You don’t just get what you want and you’re free. In fact, when you see people who’ve been given everything, often they are trapped internally.

When you do the work, you control the controllable, as my friend Ruby said today. You’re not reliant on external factors that may or may not work out for you because they can be taken away from you at any single moment.

When you impart routine and discipline into your day, you begin to see outcomes your energy is focused on and you are able to create, mold and shape your way to whatever life you deem successful for you.

What does discipline look like.

Want abundance? Create value and build sustainable infrastructure around it.

Want good health? Understand and nourish your body.

Want a loving partner? Learn to love yourself, do the inner work and be exactly what you want to receive.

Discipline gives us direction and direction gives us clarity and clarity gives us freedom. The relationship between discipline and freedom is everything.

Follow my personal account 👈🏼-- Let’s talk about worth. How you hold yourself is the single most important thing you can do. It doesn’t matter where in the journey you are, you’ve got to know your worthiness.

The fact is, we’re all mirrors of where we’re at, where we’re heading, what we believe and how we behave. So, any person, any job, any path or any circle that doesn’t match what you’re going for, doesn’t require more energy on your part.

PS - Keep in mind, I’m not talking “require too much” as in you want everything delivered to you on a silver fu***ng platter. I’m talking about “too much” cause you’re evolved af and require someone or something to meet you at that level of character, behavior and flow.
