At the time of writing this post, I am listening to a new release on Obsidian Records by Conceptor. Most tracks are piano based and bare resemblance to some of the best soundtrack and modern classical composers out there. My current favorite is a track called "As The Rain Fell" which is alluring in its simplicity yet touches me in a way that not many tracks do. If you enjoy my work as Semiomime, I would like to encourage you to listen to this album and possibly buy it as I believe it is worth it.

Speaking of Semiomime, I have been working on an 11th track last night while also modifying some of the others in very subtle ways. The mids in a piano, the sharpness of a bit of drumming... most likely, these are details that will go lost initially only to be revealed by subsequent listening. "Close Ones" is an album which will require you to do so. Although I have tried to write it in order to be played in both foreground and background, I obviously hope most people will consider the former. I have listened to it myself in various states ranging from very conscious to intoxicated.
Getting back to the album that I posted here today: I actually do not feel like writing much more about it. I would prefer it if you stopped reading for a second and gave it a listen.
