yeah, this is a thing 😉. I've found that if I write more during the week, I don't feel guilty taking a much needed Me Day on Saturday and half of Sunday off to do chores.

Also by doing this, my mind can sort through ideas and chapters already written to that point. By Sunday afternoon and into Monday, I'm fired up with plot gems to ground my story even more.

Consistent writing can take an opposite approach - not writing, taking time to interact with other forms of stimuli. Do something that gives your characters, plot, cover and promo designs time to work out the kinks. This will help you to be more productive in less time when you finally get back to your laptop or computer.

Put it to the test and see how much more you get done by allowing yourself to be inspired by others. Learn to control the impulse to write just because you had one or three ideas. Work through them mentally, to make sure the fit your WIP needs. THEN, attack that keyboard (like I am now) because the thoughts and words are like a backed up pipe ready to explode. (Sometimes, my fingers are barely keeping up with the words my mind is thinking 😉)
