Media Museum of Northern California Virtual museum and resource for exploring American pop culture and California history through archiv

The Media Museum of Northern California is an online educational and archival resource for those who wish to explore popular American culture and contemporary Northern California history through the sights, sounds and accounts of television, radio, print, and digital media. We preserve and present historic Northern California radio and television broadcasts and newspapers along with equipment, doc

uments and memorabilia. Significant content delivered online by Northern California broadcasters, publishers, and other local providers of news and entertainment will be included in our collection. To assist in the development of this museum, The San Francisco/Northern California Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and the Northern California Chapter of The Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) have established a consortium composed of regional media organizations and corporations, related industries, and individuals with management capabilities, influence and entrepreneurial skills. The Museum accepts contributions and donations through “The Academy Fund,” a non-profit, 501 (c3). For further information, contact the Consortium co-chairs:
