Chickasaw Nation Productions was established in 2009 as a result of the Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby's vision to utilize film production to preserve the stories of the Chickasaw people. Our goal is to educate audiences by producing feature films and documentaries with accurate, positive portrayals of Chickasaw people, history and culture. This National Aviation Week, we honor Pearl Carter Scott—one of America’s youngest pilots and a proud Chickasaw woman who took to the skies with fearless determination.

At just 13 years old, Pearl soloed her first flight under the mentorship of Wiley Post. By 14, she was a licensed pilot—flying with courage and a love for adventure that defined her early years. Though she later stepped away from flying to raise her family, Pearl never lost her passion for aviation or service.
