is a cultural collective from Eastern Taiwan passionate about hip hop, lo-fi music and location creation – bringing Hualien’s unique voices, traditions and soundscapes to life through community-driven music and sound projects.
EASTSIDE SAMPLES is a collaborative music project capturing the unique sounds of Taiwan’s Indigenous communities.
Together with Studio Monkey Shoulder .fm and , Flavor Hualien is inviting beat makers from across Taiwan to join workshops, jam sessions and field recordings with the local indigenous residents to spark cultural exchange and collaboration.
