Although it has long held a cult following among tokusatsu and horror film fans, this unique work has rarely been available in general retail stores. Now, more than 60 years after its theatrical release, it returns once again!
A gem of a horror film that remains unparalleled to this day, featuring the egos of humans pushed to their limits and the overwhelming presence of a "third species." The lushly eerie and aesthetic score by Sadao Bekku is revived through the latest remastering by an engineer long involved with Toho's tokusatsu soundtracks.
In addition to the original soundtrack used in the film, bonus tracks include alternate takes, sound effects, and excerpts from Kokusai Himitsu Keisatsu: Kagi no Kagi—also composed by Bekku—making this the third incarnation of the score on record.

The age of Samurai and Ninja. The fierce battle between the three Mitsurugi brothers began to protect the peace of Japan from the evil hands of the Space Ninja Sasori Army, led by the Demon Sasori, who suddenly flew in from the constellation Scorpius!
The monster masterpiece "Majin Hunter Mitsurugi," which used stop-motion animation techniques to create a series of original monsters never seen before in tokusatsu productions, left a powerful impact on boys and girls that they will never forget!
Since no music tapes have survived, the company decided to restore the film from ME tapes in order to commercialize it. All existing sound sources, including the theme song and karaoke, are included.
The Giant God Mitsurugi appears once again with his heroic and melancholy Western-style music!

Although one of the most popular among special effects fans/movie music fans, this film, which has not been available in general stores for a long time, has been re-released for the 70th anniversary of its release!
The film, which is a sister volume of "The Mysterians", the first Toho special effects film in color by Honda Ishiro and Tsuburaya Eiji, has evolved even further, and Akira Ifukube's heroic music enlivens it even more, brought back to life by the latest remastering by engineers who have worked on Toho special effects soundtracks for many years.
In addition to the sound sources used in the film, including M32, aka "BATTLE IN OUTER SPACE March," which was used in "Shin Godzilla" in 2016, the bonus tracks include all the other takes, making this the definitive Natal release.
