Although it has long held a cult following among tokusatsu and horror film fans, this unique work has rarely been available in general retail stores. Now, more than 60 years after its theatrical release, it returns once again!
A gem of a horror film that remains unparalleled to this day, featuring the egos of humans pushed to their limits and the overwhelming presence of a "third species." The lushly eerie and aesthetic score by Sadao Bekku is revived through the latest remastering by an engineer long involved with Toho's tokusatsu soundtracks.
In addition to the original soundtrack used in the film, bonus tracks include alternate takes, sound effects, and excerpts from Kokusai Himitsu Keisatsu: Kagi no Kagi—also composed by Bekku—making this the third incarnation of the score on record.

Directed by Satoshi Kon, known for "Paprika," "Millennium Actress," and "Tokyo Godfathers," Perfect Blue was his directorial debut. Based on the novel of the same name by Yoshikazu Takeuchi and produced by Madhouse, this psychological suspense anime was released in theaters in 1998.
A global masterpiece that delves into the increasingly relevant theme of the “disparity between self-image and others’ perception,” Perfect Blue returns in a newly remastered soundtrack. The album captures the film’s intense emotional contrasts, blending cheerful and refreshing idol pop with unsettling music by Masahiro Ikumi, allowing listeners to relive the fusion of illusion and reality portrayed in the film.

大藪春彦のデビュー作にして、50年代の名作ハードボイルド古典小説である原作を、現代のダーク・ヒーロー/サイコパスとして再構築した松田優作主演『野獣死すべし』。
公開時、多くの人から受け入れられなかったにも関わらず今日まで語り継がれたこの怪作を彩るのは、昭和末期のテレビ番組を飾ったたかしまあきひこの音楽。
音楽はマスターテープから全曲リマスタリングを行い、2023年9月に発売された完全盤CDからのボーナストラックを2曲追加して再誕する令和の『野獣死すべし』アナログ盤。

Death of the Beast,” starring Yusaku Matsuda, reimagines Haruhiko Ohyabu's debut novel, a classic hard-boiled novel from the 1950s, as a modern-day dark hero/psychopath.
The music by Akihiko Takashima, who graced TV programs at the end of the Showa period, graces this monstrosity that has been passed down to this day, despite the fact that it was not well received by many when it was first released.
The music has been remastered from the master tapes, and two bonus tracks from the complete CD released in September 2023 have been added to the analog version of “The Beast To Die” by 2023.
