You may have noticed over the past few months that there's been bit of a lull in terms of news posting.

We've written up a new post explaining what was going on behind the scenes with some bittersweet news.

Greetings Tales Fans! Just a message to let you all know that Tales Union is currently looking for new writers for our site.

We're looking for someone who has a passion for journalism (specifically for games) who is dedicated, diligent, and has a decent grasp of the English language.

As the name suggests, our site is primarily Tales focused, but there is room for expansion should the candidate choose to write for any of our other sites within the GamingUnion network.

Tales Union offers as a great stepping stone into the world of video games journalism and whoever is chosen to become a writer will be getting a great deal of experience in many different aspects of gaming journalism.

If you're interested, you may pop an email over to Lauren at [email protected].

If you have some writing samples that would be preferable, but if not, it's not a big deal. This position is also open to anyone around the world. Our only requirement is that you know English.

To all our fans:

You may have noticed that wasn't much in terms of updates in the past month. My computer's HDD died earlier in the month and wasn't fully serviced until near the end of the month.

Things are back to normal now on my end, although some IRL-related duties might delay getting fully caught back up until next weekend.

Some of you may have noticed the recent lack of activity on the site, so we wanted to give our followers an update on what's been going on lately.

Since earlier this month I've been knee-deep in code for work projects as well as projects on Gaming Union and its network sites behind-the-scenes, both of which have taken up a large portion of my non-coding free time during the week. Melissa has also been busy, but for other unrelated reasons.

Things will probably be slightly backlogged for the next few weeks, but we're aiming to catch up on the backlogged news this weekend, so please forgive your RSS feed getting bombarded. ;)
