WildSojourns Nature Awards And Festival 2024 was celebrated with a huge success in the presence of all the stalwarts and legends from Wildlife Photography and Conservation fraternity , on 5,6 & 7th July . The venue was Kolkata Centre for Creativity , Kolkata. More than 1000 wildlife and nature enthusiasts attended the event over these 3 days. A grand Exhibition of all award winning images was the main highlight. Invited guest speakers included the stalwarts in WIldlife Photography and Conservation, Dr. Anish Andheria, Shivang Mehta & Sagar Gosavi. Special Guest of Honour was world renowned wildlife photographer, Mr. Thomas Vijayan. Many other guest speakers included, Ramachandiran Govindaraj, Balaji Loganathan, Samya Sengupta, Kallol Mukherjee , Ripan Biswas, Surya Ramachandran and Mayuresh Hendre . Member of our Jury and famous wildlife photographer, Kiran Poonacha was there too. Our curators Puskar Basu (speaker also),Yasodhan Bhatia and Soumendra Mukhopadhyay lent their support relentlessly.. A grand award ceremony was held on 7th . More than 93 awards were given with total cash prizes amounting to INR 16 lakhs. Hope to see you next year.
