So happy Election Day! I woke up to the news of Dick Cheney passing, which honestly its about time. I was surprised he was not in his man sized safe though. -

It was a cold but pretty morning as I walked down to the bank to cash my paycheck and as I walked from the bank to my polling place I passed the Commodore Theatre and saw to my second surprise to see my friend Doug Jones on the marquee of upcoming features. Its the first I have heard of the project but I am sure he will be amazing in it. He always is.

As I headed to "excersise my franchise" I mused on how apprapos that term is, as we herd ourselves into homogenous booths and vote for the human equivelant of a fast food chain. Which artificial pink slime of a burger will reign supreme?

The only thing that brought me joy on this cold amd way too bright morning (besides the newly acquired money in my wallet I will spend on booze as I watch the election results) was being able to vote for my friend James Cullen for Sherriff!

I hope everyone has a safe and productive time during "the people's pepsi challenge" may the odds be ever in your favor amd let chaos reign! Now I am going back to bed until its time to drink and play trivia.

Come see me at Olde Towne Portsmouth Ghost Walk this Friday, I will be leading guides, send whiskey. - the market starts at 5:30, first ghost tours go out starting at 7pm.
