What is your favorite album of 2014 so far? Why do you love that album so much?

Hey everyone! I thought I would give you guys a question to think about. Do you think artists or bands should change up their sound or should they stay with the same sound? A good example of an artist or band changing their sound is Linkin Park. Their last few albums have been completely different but at the same time, they still have that "Linkin Park" sound mainly because of Chester Bennington's lead vocal. On the other hand, Coldplay and their newest album "Ghost Stories" shows that Coldplay is sticking with the same sound. That almost ambient rock sound with Chris Martin's singing is the Coldplay sound. Some fans get mad when bands or artists change their sound while other fans get tired of bands stay the same and don't change. What do you guys think? Should artists and bands change their sound or should they stick with the same sound?

Hey everyone! So now that Coachella is over, how did those of you who went like it? Who was your favorite artist? And was it what you expected, or was it worse/better than you expected? There was a lot of performances that made headlines over the past week including Skrillex and NAS. Coachella this year was definitely one to remember and we are all looking forward to next year already. As for TBG Music, we have a lot of exciting things coming up in next few weeks so stay tuned!!

Any of you interested in Indian music or film? Well, the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles is happening April 8th to April 13th. This is the perfect place to expand your knowledge of Indian culture and get to know Rukus Avenue better. The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles is having a show for Rukus Avenue featuring noteworthy music taste maker DJ Garth Trinidad and singer songwriter Raghav. Excpect a vibrant night of fun and entertainment as we honor the prestigious Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles. Come join us and celebrate the beauty of music, film, and culture at TRU Hollywood on April 10th, 2014. Check out RukusAvenue.com for more info. Also, for two days during the festival, Rhythm Village, in the Arclight Cinema Courtyard, will feature live music with Rukus Avenue. Enrich your evening with an even more intimate music experience with Rhythm Village Unplugged, an after hours acoustic session that divulges the many personal facets and connections between the art and the artists. Lastly, Sammy Chand composed the music for the movie SOLD which will be shown Tuesday April 8th. The film will be attended by Hollywood celebrities and Indian the Film industry celebrities as the stars will come together in support of very important fight against Human Trafficking. Who is going to Coachella this year? Coachella will be held at the Empire Polo Club 81-800 Avenue 51 Indio, CA 92201. Coachella will be held on two different weekends. Weekend one is from April 11 to 13th and weekend two is from April 18th to 20th. There are so many great acts going this year and so many different genres are being represented. If you are an Alternative fan, there are many notable bands going this year including Bastille, CHVRCHES, AlunaGeorge, and many more. If you are a fan of Electronic Dance Music, there are may notable artists as well including Skrillex, Martin Garrix, Krewella, Disclosure, and lots more EDM artists. If you are a Hip Hop fan, there are some very notable artists preforming this year including Nas, A$AP Ferg, Chance The Rapper, Kid Cudi, and many more. If you are into Pop music, there will be some big Pop artists coming out as well including Ellie Goulding, Lorde, Pharrell Williams, and others. If you like to rock it out, there will be some fabulous rock bands at Coachella this year as well including AFI, Drowners, Foster The People, and lots more exciting acts. Other notable artists that will be preforming include Jhene Aiko, MGMT,and Haim. There are so many great acts this year and if you are going, have fun! Music brings people together and Coachella is one of those experiences that does just that.

Hey everyone! Here at Tychon Broadcasting Group in Los Angeles, we are excited to announce a new project we have been working on in 2014. It is called the ChimeraRED project. The project is based off of a book that is in the works about a revolutionary new music artist from Tychon (another planet). This alien crash landed on earth where the alien discovered music. More information will be released in the near future along with a trailer for ChimeraRED so stay tuned!

Here at Tychon Broadcasting Group many big things have been in the works lately. Today, I am pleased to announce TBG is in the process of working with Jhene Aiko on two new records in Los Angeles with the help of Jeff Duran, Tezz Morgan, and Phoenix R. Jhene will be releasing her new album in April with possible surprise before the drop, so stay tuned!
