GIVE THAT MOUNTAIN A MARCHING ORDER

Text: Mathew 17:20

Today, more than ever before, people from all walks of life are either ' harassed' or held captive by all kinds of unfavourable circumstances that makes life difficult and miserable.
What is your own case? What situation is taking out the ' shine' out of your life?
Whatever it is, that is your mountain.
Thankfully, Jesus, to whom everything submits has this to say about that mountain of yours: "..... If you have faith as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain ( your situation), ' move from here to there' and it will move ( obey), and nothing will be impossible for you." ( Mathew 17:20).
What a relief ! The Master himself has told us what to do with all the mountains in our lives.
Are you going to sit there and allow yourself to be overwhelmed by unfavourable circumstances, or would you rather obey the Lord, and SPEAK WITH FAITH TO THAT 'MOUNTAIN,' ordering it out of your life?

CHANGE YOUR LIFE:
Most people are discontented with their lives. They want to grow, they want to succeed, they want to be admired, they want to earn more money, they want to flourish in every area of their lives. These are indeed noble ambitions. Unfortunately, most people live their entire lives without ever realization these aspirations. For most people, these goodies has remained elusive; failure and frustration becomes their companion.
Now we can all do something about this ugly trend. What we actually need is a transformation that'll usher us into the life of our dreams.
Romans 12:2, says; "... be transformed by the renewing of your mind..."
If you really want a transformation in your life, work on the inside of you; work diligently on your mind; change your thinking. This is very important because your thoughts control your actions, and your actions are responsible for the results you get; FAILURE or SUCCESS!

How to Discover Your Life Purpose

How do you discover your real purpose in life? I’m not talking about your job, your daily responsibilities, or even your long-term goals. I mean the real reason why you’re here at all — the very reason you exist.
Here’s a story about Bruce Lee which sets the stage for this little exercise. A master martial artist asked Bruce to teach him everything Bruce knew about martial arts. Bruce held up two cups, both filled with liquid. “The first cup,” said Bruce, “represents all of your knowledge about martial arts. The second cup represents all of my knowledge about martial arts. If you want to fill your cup with my knowledge, you must first empty your cup of your knowledge.”

If you want to discover your true purpose in life, you must first empty your mind of all the false purposes you’ve been taught (including the idea that you may have no purpose at all).

So how to discover your purpose in life? While there are many ways to do this, some of them fairly involved, here is one of the simplest that anyone can do. The more open you are to this process, and the more you expect it to work, the faster it will work for you. But not being open to it or having doubts about it or thinking it’s an entirely idiotic and meaningless waste of time won’t prevent it from working as long as you stick with it — again, it will just take longer to converge.

Here’s what to do:
1.Take out a blank sheet of paper where you write.
2.Write at the top, “What is my true purpose in life?”
3.Write an answer (any answer) that pops into your head. It doesn’t have to be a complete sentence. A short phrase is fine.
4.Repeat step 3 until you write the answer that makes you cry. This is your purpose.
Give it a shot! At the very least, you’ll learn one of two things: your true purpose in life

We all know ambitious individuals who drive themselves. They want success at all costs. We also know people who consider themselves failures, who constantly feel like giving up and are convinced they can never be successful. But what is true success? The Bible comments on mankind’s desire for money and wealth. Can you really achieve success? As the Apostle Paul stated in Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” The Bible reveals the unseen, immutable laws of life. When we are in harmony with those principles and instructions, we are blessed. In fact, from the beginning of the Bible to the end, you will find that obedience to God’s way of life brings blessings, and disobedience to God’s way of life brings curses. The world’s criteria for success: possessions, power, position and pleasure—-only bring pain, suffering, failure and death. Those who define success as “getting ahead” of others, and engaging in selfish indulgence, will not only harm others; they will ultimately harm themselves. True success comes only through the Savior of the world, who taught us to love our enemies, lay down our lives for one another and live by every word of God. When we do this through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can live truly happy, productive and successful lives, because we will be helping others into the family of God, and into the Kingdom of God.
