As we count down to this year’s Spirit Awards, we want to take a moment to honor the incredible nominees who will take the stage to celebrate their artistry and storytelling. Your hard work and talent inspire us all—good luck to each and every one of you! 🌟

But this year, our hearts are especially with Josh Welsh, one of the greats in this business, who sadly passed in January. Josh wasn’t just a visionary; he was a trailblazer who built a foundation at Film Independent that has helped countless filmmakers bring their dreams to life. His legacy lives on in every story told, every artist supported, and every barrier broken. Cheers to you, Josh, for paving the way and leaving such an indelible mark on this industry.
