Believers, come near the cross this morning, and humbly adore the King of glory as having once been brought far lower, in mental distress and inward anguish, than any one among us; and mark his fitness to become a faithful High Priest, who can be touched with a feeling of our infirmities. Especially let those of us whose sadness springs directly from the withdrawal of a present sense of our Father’s love, enter into near and intimate communion with Jesus. Let us not give way to despair, since through this dark room the Master has passed before us. Our souls may sometimes long and faint, and thirst even to anguish, to behold the light of the Lord’s countenance: at such times let us stay ourselves with the sweet fact of the sympathy of our great High Priest.

No joy can excel that of the soldier of Christ: Jesus reveals himself so graciously, and gives such sweet refreshment, that the warrior feels more calm and peace in his daily strife than others in their hours of rest. The highway of holiness is the highway of communion. It is thus we shall hope to win the crown if we are enabled by divine grace faithfully to follow Christ “without the camp” The crown of glory will follow the cross of separation.

Never was such overflowing affection for men as you find in him( Jesus); but still he was separate from sinners. In like manner Christ’s people must “go forth unto him” They must take their position “without the camp,” as witness-bearers for the truth. They must be prepared to tread the straight and narrow path. They must have bold, unflinching, lion-like hearts, loving Christ first, and his truth next, and Christ and his truth beyond all the world. Jesus would have his people “go forth without the camp” for their own sanctification.

The Christian’s reason for leaving the camp of the world’s sin and religion is not because he loves to be singular, but because Jesus did so; and the disciple must follow his Master. Christ was “not of the world:” his life and his testimony were a constant protest against conformity with the world.

SEVEN STATEMENTS YOU ARE NEVER TO FORGET

1.) Education without intimacy with God is confusion. I know you don't want to end up your life confused. So get God and knowledge.

2.) some times spent in perfecting and enhancing your talents is your investment into the future.

3. ) Any time you watch or listen to comedy and you laugh, never forget that when you end up a failure, that is how life will laugh at you.

4.) Whatever distracts you from channeling maximum attention on your life, values, academics is too bad to be surrounded with

5.) Whatever pollutes your thought or have an impact in influencing your prospects and perspectives is potent enough to destroy you

6.) Watch what you eat, choose who you make friend, screen what you hear, mind how you talk, never pass any rumour until you have confirmed it,mind how you threat others and what you see or look at.

7.) Never be annoyed and tolerate others, help your parents, respect all alike. Esteem your parents, teachers mentors and trainers.

When the devil intends to stand against the peace of God's people, he moves certain people, occurences. He causes certain actions and events against them. We can stop these negative moves on our kneels. Prayer prepares us for God's move and through it we foster his agendas, frustrates and paralyses the moves of darkness. We are God's oracles. God can't work without (us) his human vessels, the devil neither can . God needs a man at least to birth his course, so also the devil. Prayer becomes the means through which God selects and thoroughly makes his men

1 Chronicles 21:1"Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel...and God was displeased with this thing; therefore He struck Israel." (NKJV)

The preacher's sharpest and strongest preaching should be to himself. His most difficult, delicate, laborious, and thorough work must be with himself. The training of the twelve was the great, difficult, and enduring work of Christ.

Never offer a mirror to a blind man: if a man is so proud that he will not see his faults, he will only quarrel with you for pointing them out to him. It is of no use to hold a lantern to a mole or to talk of heaven to a man who cares for nothing but his dirty money. There's a time for everything, and it is a silly thing to preach to drunken men; it is casting pearls before swine. Get them sober and then talk to them soberly; if you lecture them while they are drunk, you act as if you were drunk yourself.

WHERE ARE YOU?

One of the tradegies of this hour lies in the fact that, we no longer look into the mirror of God's word. Those who look ,post a caricature and they enjoy their horrible and clown looks; However, the word is God's mirror to keep exposing how we look to ourselves so that we can keep adjusting until we attain the perfect look of the image of God. Painfully, we come to the mirror but with painted faces, necklaces, lip glose, etc, we celebrate our own masquerade looks, hiding under the sade of cosmetics and never seeing ourselves in God's light. Humanity, who God love so dearly, keep hiding in the thick sade of the trees as the voice keep blasting passionately," Where are you?" Don't judge or think too far, think about your stand before God and ask," where am l?"

Dear, where are you, in your commitment to God, worship, his people. Where are you in prayer , devotion, faithfulness, holiness, discipline, and love? Are you not hiding?

The Message Romans 12:1-2 So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
