the things i am proudest of with this cosplay is 1) the shirt was made from scrap material from my stash 2) pretty much every single other element was borrowed from friends and a random variety of my other cosplays 😍😍😍

i want more people borrowing cosplays from friends instead of buying new stuff!!!

I’m overjoyed that I was able to pop out this cosplay for AWA 💖 Honestly, it is kind of the perfect evening cosplay at a con because I end the night dancing 💃🏽
There is still a lot of extra stuff I need to do and add to it to make it perfect ~ but I am very happy with the base cosplay 😊 AND I AM SO PROUD THAT I WAS ABLE TO DO THE ARCANE MAKEUP!!!! I struggle with feeling like I am good at doing makeup so this look was intimidating!
Bless for having tutorials for doing the makeup and the wig styling 🙏🏼

MY MALON GIRL 💖🐴💖 I’m overjoyed that I was able to pull together a Malon look for the Ren Faire and extra excited that friends joined in on my Zelda theme ✨ No joke I’ve put Malon on my cosplan list for almost every con for probably the past 2 years?! And I’ve been collecting things from the thrift store for maybe 4-5 years?

I know it seems like a simple outfit but, to me, that means I have more creativity in how I bring it to life! This is definitely not the final version of this cosplay 🧵🪡 I have more details and plans on how to make it look so cool ~ but I am so happy I was finally able to take this first step in bringing her to life 😍

CAN WE GET A LITTLE COMMOTION FOR THE BACK OF THE DRESS?!?! ✨💃🏽✨

This dress was such a labor of love! The entire thing is made from thrifted materials aka 3 dresses frankenstein-ed together to make my best attempt at a dragon down my back 🐉

The event that Aelin wears this dress in the books is such a significant one for her character and I’ve known I’ve wanted to try my hand at making the dress since I first read it 😍

I definitely plan on making a little reel explaining some of the process of how I went about it 💖 But until then, a documented most of it in my stories and it is all together in a little feature thing on my profile! But I also might end up making a longer explainer youtube video or tiktok about it 🥰

FINALLY WE HAVE NICE PHOTOS OF THESE COSPLAYS 💖 We’ve had these cosplays for like 2 years and usually just get drunk in them 🤣 as would our characters, but that means we have so few good photos in them!

The Jude and Cardan dynamic is so fun ~ I absolutely love the photos we got 💃🏽
