Thanks to Ozzy for being a gateway into metal, then into hardcore, post-hardcore and ultimately emo. I don’t remember when I entered this into the database but I do remember going to Ozzfest for a bunch of years and having the opportunity to work with some of Ozzy’s music catalog. You gotta start somewhere when you find music and Ozzy was possibly a start for many who we stand next to at shows today. Go see your heroes when you can, maybe one day they’ll not be here to sing or give you a smile from across the venue as you lock eyes and share the moment. Cherish them!!!
