I am friends with some Orthodox Jews from a Ugandan village.

Before the coronavirus pandemic this village was seriously impoverished and with the outbreak of the pandemic they are now in dire straits and don't have enough to feed the village.

I have tried working with communal organisations but none in a position to help. Do I have any journalists in my friend list that would consider publicising their situation in the hope that it will attract the communal funding to prevent this village from starving.

A question on morality for my orthodox Jewish and Muslim friends (Christians and progressives get a hall pass).

Can it be (or was it ever) moral:

🔸 To keep or sell slaves?
🔸 To execute people for zina / z’nut?
🔸 To drive out the pagans from Yathrib / Israel?
🔸 To execute someone for apostasy?

Video to follow, but interested in how people square these questions with scripture.

🔸 Want to abolish private schools… send their kids to private schools
🔸 Say houses are unaffordable… own multiple houses
🔸 Protest the 1%… are worth millions
