Breaking News: Hit-and-Run Collision in Bothell Leaves One Injured: Washington State Patrol reports a serious injury hit-and-run collision on southbound I-405 near 195th Street in Bothell on the morning of August 22, 2025.

Investigators say a vehicle traveling in the first lane merged into the second lane, striking the rear of another vehicle. The impacted vehicle left the roadway, rolled over, and came to rest on the left shoulder facing west. The striking vehicle was later found abandoned about a quarter mile south of the crash site.

One person was transported to Harborview Medical Center with injuries. Both vehicles sustained major damage, with one reported as totaled.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and authorities have not confirmed whether drugs or alcohol were factors.
