💰 Capgemini is buying WNS for $3.3 billion — but why?
In one of the biggest enterprise tech deals of the year, Capgemini has announced it will acquire WNS in an all-cash deal valued at $3.3 billion.
The goal? To become a leader in AI-powered Intelligent Operations.
WNS, known for its digital-led business process services, brings a high-margin, recurring revenue model and strong U.S. client base — with names like United Airlines and Aviva on the list.
Capgemini says this deal will help them tap into the next wave of enterprise demand: Agentic AI and Gen AI embedded across business processes — moving from automation to autonomy.
The acquisition is expected to be accretive to earnings by 4% in 2026 and 7% in 2027 after synergies kick in.
