"After a hiatus SHE'S BACK!!! An ear infection and balance issues tried to take me out y'all. But GOD!! I'm truly thankful for being able to run on the treadmill and have a leg day in the gym today. For the last three weeks I've been working or traveling for work. From Mobile, Al to Grand Rapids, MI I've seen nothing but the inside of a conference room. Then I caught a cold, damn airports. No problem take care of myself. This week I was planning my triumphant return to gym training...my cold then turned into a left ear infection. Y'all I can't hear one thing but the sound of Charlie Brown's teacher muh..mah...muh...mah...muh ..mah.

My father in law used to say 'there's opportunity in everything' so instead of feeling like life is against me, I've taken the time to let my body do what it needs to do now because the holiday season is about to be lit and I ain't got no time to be sick. I love y'all dearly and Happy Wednesday!!!

The Kroger Atlanta Community Day was a powerful demonstration of communities uniting in service to fight food insecurity. The event was held on Thursday , October 16th In collaboration with U.S. Hunger. Kroger associates and community members teamed up in Atlanta to pack and distribute 1 million nutritious meals for local families in need.

The Floyd Turner Foundation, Inc. was honored to participate in this worthy event for an increasing need. The need for nutritious meals is felt most in communities of those who are underserved and to those students who I serve each day in my role at Georgia Piedmont Technical College. A worthy cause that needs constant, consistent addressing. Let's eradicate hunger!

MY BIRTHDAY WISH💜

"I didn't work out as I had planned this morning. I woke up feeling exhausted from car issues yesterday and my body would not move. Initially I started lamenting about how tired I was but in my meditation I was reminded that it was a blessing to wake up feeling exhausted. I was also reminded about how amazing it was that God still considered me when he enabled me to open my eyes this morning. This year I've been really focusing on perspective and how to look at life in a more positive light. Because although things may not be as they should, they are not as they could be. So on my 53rd birthday, my wish for you is that the perspective in your world stays bright and filled with grace. I love you all dearly and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to freaking me!!!"
