Quick read classics 🤩

Never read Shakespeare? Don’t worry, that’s why we’ve created our easy-to-read graphic novels.

The complex Shakespearean language can deter many readers, especially those coming to a play for the first time. To cater for that, we publish a translation into plain English (from the entire script) that we call "Plain Text" as well an an even faster-paced read our "Quick Text" novels feature reduced and simplified dialogue for younger and reluctant readers.

This version is also ideal for students where English is not the first language, and also for a quick introduction to the play for even mature students.

Our comics come in three text versions, to suit all readers. But, which one is right for you?

For all of our Shakespeare plays, we have created three versions:

👉🏼 Original text is the entire unabridged play, as a full colour graphic novel.
👉🏼 Plain text is the entire play, translated and modernised into plain English.
👉🏼 Quick text is a reduced simplified dialogue, for a fast-paced read.
