🚨 STABBING | CAPE CORAL
A teenage boy has been seriously injured after being stabbed at a duplex in the 1300 block of Country Club Boulevard in Cape Coral.
Cape Coral Fire and Lee County EMS crews responded to an "Unknown Medical" call at 12:13 AM Sunday morning.
When CCFD crews arrived, they found a teenage victim that had been stabbed during an altercation.
Fire & EMS radio communications indicate that the approximately 14-year-old male was stabbed in the chest and transported as a "Trauma Alert" to Gulf Coast Medical Center.
No other injuries were reported.
CCPD told a witness in the area that a total of 21 males had been detained at the scene as officers worked to determine who the suspect was. A group of men could be seen behind the duplex in handcuffs, with another handcuffed man seated next to a mailbox at the front.
Officers have taped off two adjacent duplexes as detectives investigate.
No further information has been made available.
The Cape Coral Police Department is investigating.
