Mayor Bowser is encouraging more residents to move downtown and feedback will be needed to help guide further development of our neighborhood.

The neighborhood is a magnet for visitors.

Compass Coffee opened late last month at 11th and E St NW. We've visited a few times and it's a great place to have coffee and breakfast. Three breakfast sandwiches are on the menu too!

We enjoyed a recent visit to the new location for Baker’s Daughter found in the Eaton DC Hotel at 1201 K St NW. Breakfast and lunch are available. (The I St NW location in Chinatown is firmly closed.)

We visited Puttery recently and enjoyed our evening there. The mini golf themed bar and restaurant is engaging and has plenty of places to take fun photos for an evening out. We snapped a few of the interior and posted them in our review.

We're glad it's here in Penn Quarter and DowntownDC!

Puttery (800 F St NW) opened its doors to Washington DC in late June of this year and we can now say we’ve seen it, done it, and liked it. Hello Penn Quarterites...the DowntownDC BID is polling residents and workers about how to improve Chinatown-Gallery Place's 7th Street corridor. The survey count is in the mid-300s and we definitely need to have representation from the residential and worker community to boost that number.
