Today was officially the last day of filming for the feature documentary on Director Blake Edwards. I’ve learned so much from this group of filmmakers (here pictured with Jennifer and Geoff Edwards). I ran camera, did stills and DIT. Thank you Larry Herbst (THE most patient of all DP’s), Michael Mayhew, Danny Gold, Robyn Bliley and Frankie Montiforte.

Much fun was had this weekend as I celebrated my birthday with my fella, my kids, and a bevy of groovy peeps. All a tic early as we combined our party. Happy Birthday BABY (aka Danny Gold)! No doubt I’m a lucky lady.

Actor Robert Wagner was such a delight to meet, film and photograph! When he lifted his eyebrow and flashed his chompers for the camera like the pro that he’s always been, he threw out the line, “Learned how to smile for the camera like that in Star School.” All of us howled. Not many people can make that statement. Also, his ma*****na socks and use of the word “lid” in reference to an amount of ma*****na had us going as we wearily packed up camera gear. Fun day at the old day job.

So today I’m going back to an estate sale in Hollywood. Yesterday I found some slick comedy awards show programs. Giving a head’s up to anyone that was ever a part of it, as they were from quite a few years in a row. Let me know if you want.

Fun day with this Rock Star doc crew and - loved listening to his take on Blake Edwards and the ephemeral nature of comedy in film and stand-up. And yeah, I had to look up the word. Lol
