The goal of PCWS is to provide important information to the citizens of Polk County Wisconsin, based on public scanner traffic, as well as public interest stories and community events.
Public Interest Stories - may include stories from outside of Polk County. These may including state, national, or world events and news.
We reserve the right to post what we feel is relevant or newsworthy, as well as delete any offensive comments, or images. This a private page.
The opinions expressed on this page are protected by the 1st Amendment.
We welcome your comments, but will not tolerate comments that are offensive, threatening, or that personally attack, or are meant to create a comment war with other commenters, or attempt to intimidate users or moderators of this page.
Any attempts to hijack the comments section of this page, in order to create a platform for yourself or intimidate others will not be allowed, and users will be banned from the page.
We recommend you create your own page to share your views with your own fans.
Please keep in mind that we are volunteers that have families and jobs and that this page is not monitored 24/7.
We will only post information that we hear and can be confirmed. We ask that you refrain from posting incidents. If you have an incident that you feel needs to be posted please message us through the page.
There are certain things that we do not post such as medical calls, photos of accident victims and information regarding deceased persons.

3. Do not post comments that are meant to intimidate or threaten others.
4. Please refrain from making comments while we are covering a call. We ask that you wait until we show all units clear then make your comments.
5. If you have any pictures please send them to us through our page.
6. Do not post assumptions or rumors as to what may have happened or who did what.
7. DO not make posts that make remarks about harming anyone. This includes both verbal and physical harm. Those posts or comments will screen shot and forwarded to the proper authorities.
Failure to follow these rules will result in your comment being deleted and could result in you being banned from the page. We strongly encourage page interaction but we ask that you follow these simple rules.
