This whole idea of economic conference is as defeatist as it is deceitful. It is akin to having too many hands in cooking a pot of soup; another talk show. Where are Emir Sanusi, Chukwuma Soludo, Pat Utomi, Oby Ezekwesili, not mentioning the politicians among the 'change elements'. One of them should be entrusted with co-ordinating the economy, if they are so good. Sincerely, the foundations of this nation is undoubtedly faulty and that is what a conference is needed for - not merely an economic propaganda. Even if Buhari does not want to use the report of the last national conference, he should get his own done - and allow them the same freedom of deliberations. Nigeria needs a re-construction, not a rehabilitation.
