Red Shoes Rodeo Only children and wh**es wear red shoes--heard on Q***r Eye for the Straight Guy to midnight. Music--both playing it and listening to it--always helps.

Red Shoes Rodeo airs live on KRCB-FM in Santa Rosa (91.1fm and 90.9fm) and streams at krcb.org, usually on first and third Friday nights from 10 p.m. You'll hear everything from early (1930s) folk and soul to garage, grunge, punk, y'alternative, spoken word and even a bit of opera if its fits. It's a jazz-free zone and you'll never ever here the likes of Steely Dan or the Grateful Dead. If there's

something of note happening in the world, you'll hear it in the music, a tradition established with the first show, the night before Diana's funeral. I've played through floods, fires, elections and the deaths of too many of my favorite musicians and public figures.
