RACER RESCUE - Effective 5/20/2026. After learning of another organization with the name Baja Rescue Logistics, we have decided to rebrand as Racer Rescue. This is was done to avoid confusion between the organizations, and to work alongside one another as mutual assets in cases of emergency. The mission, the members, the supporters, and the goals all stay the same. Racer Rescue is the future. Learn more about us through the link in our bio.

A huge day for us as we purchased a set of Holmatro Extrication Tools. These tools are for YOU. This will be a huge part of our abilities at the races to extricate entrapped trophy truck and UTV racers. These tools are not cheap. We, as a board, came up with 100% of the funds to purchase this set of life saving equipment. A huge thank you to Amir from MES for searching the country for a good set of used tools for us and believing in our mission. These are to be used in emergency circumstances. we can not say with 100% certain that all routes are passable, but are to the best of our knowledge! GOOD LUCK AND BE SAFE!

Join Derek Asserbauer, Tucker Hopkins and Kirk Raleigh of Baja Rescue as we comb through the 2026 San Felipe 250 course. We identify remote areas of the course and discuss options of how to get into said areas in case of emergencies. Derek and Tucker go over advice and lessons they have learned in their many San Felipe races. Take a look into my pack and what I carry in my medical bag. This goes with me on all my rides. It is tailored to my level of training and to local trail rides. Multi day excursions or trips down to Baja get different tools for different accidents and different availability of resources. Better prepare yourself by getting the equipment and empowering yourself with the knowledge of how to use it.
