Thank you, dear Lord
King of kings, Lord of lords, Lord of the heavenly armies, God of gods, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Redeemer.
Thank you, dear Lord, for Your great love and mercy for us. Thank you for food to eat, a bed to sleep in, and thank you for our common sense to praise and praise you with.
Thank you for forgiving our sins. Thank you that we can live in you through you and to you. Lord, thank you for a good night's sleep and bright, glorious mornings. Thank you for watching over us through the dark night.
And so also throughout the day, thank you for allowing us and our children to be. Lord, I pray that You will take everyone who is sick, who has worries, who has fear, who is hungry or thirsty, under Your hand, who will touch them and heal them. Lord, thank you for the amount of joy we bestow.
Thank you for the rain, Father. Let it rain also in our hearts, that we may be opened to the Holy Spirit. Father, thank you for every miracle, big or small. Father, light the fire in our hearts, that we may be a fire to others and that you may continue to encourage and pray.
I see how a hard time happens to bad things, but for you there is nothing impossible. Thank you for never leaving us, and for helping us build our faith.
Help us to carry out Your love, like a light in this dark world. Help us to be able to forgive one another and show love. Thank you that we too can know You are with us and in us.
Thank you, dear Lord.

Dankie, liewe Here, vir U groot liefde en barmhartigheid vir ons. Dankie vir kos om te eet, 'n bed om in te slaap, en dankie vir ons gesonde verstand om jou te prys en te waardeer.
Dankie dat jy ons sondes vergewe het. Dankie dat ons in jou kan leef deur jou en na jou toe. Here, dankie vir 'n goeie nagrus en helder, glorieryke oggende. Dankie dat jy oor ons waak deur die donker nag.
En so ook deur die dag, dankie dat julle ons en ons kinders toelaat om te wees. Here, ek bid dat U almal wat siek is, wat bekommerd is, wat vrees, honger of dors is, onder U hand sal neem, wat hulle sal aanraak en genees. Here, dankie vir die hoeveelheid vreugde wat ons bring.
Dankie vir die reën, Vader. Laat dit ook in ons harte reën, sodat ons oopgemaak kan word vir die Heilige Gees. Vader, dankie vir elke wonderwerk, groot of klein. Vader, steek die vuur in ons harte aan, sodat ons 'n vuur vir ander kan wees en dat U kan aanhou om aan te moedig en te bid.
Ek sien hoe 'n moeilike tyd met slegte dinge gebeur, maar vir jou is daar niks onmoontlik nie. Dankie dat jy ons nooit verlaat het nie, en dat jy ons gehelp het om ons geloof te bou.
Help ons om U liefde uit te voer, soos 'n lig in hierdie donker wêreld. Help ons om mekaar te kan vergewe en liefde te wys. Dankie dat ons ook kan weet Jy is by ons en in ons.
