We made it!!! Hiked from the Mexican border to the Canadian border over the past 4 + 1/2 months. For the second time. Pacific Crest Trail (2011) + now Continental Divide Trail 2025. What an adventure! Some of the highest highs and lowest lows. We experienced everything from sandstorms to snow, 100+ degree temps 🥵 to freezing 🥶, rain, hail, winds and everything in between. We hiked through many deserts 🌵, forests (living + dead), high alpine, ridge walks, over mountain passes, through rivers, and over fields of snow. We saw bears, elk, mountain goats, big horned sheep, eagles, owls, hawks, cranes, snakes, butterflies and too many other living things to list. Above all else, we met the kindest, most incredible people along the journey. So many people helped us. Took us in, fed us, gave us showers and rides. We are SO grateful to all of you that helped to make this adventure possible. Thank you for mailing all our resupply boxes along the way. Your little messages kept us going. Thank you Jimmy Elam for keeping us in shoes (5 pairs to be exact). Thank you Ami Vo for keeping us warm and dry. And to all the other hikers we met, y’all are amazing! To my partner in crime, Eurotrash, I’m SO grateful to hike + bike + traverse this big world with you. I love you so much. ❤️ What’s next, babe? To all our friends and family, see you up the trail. Until next time, keep on, keepin’ on ya’ll!!! 😘e

Sorry we’ve been MIA, folks! We’ve been pushing hard to get to Canada before the snow flies without much rest. After Yellowstone, we hiked through Idaho + took the Big Sky cutoff where we met the coolest trail angel ever, Candypants! She took us in, spoiled us and drove our food boxes to us that were late. We hiked through Big Sky, road walked (a lot) and spent too much time in burned forests climbing into Helena, Montana. There, Ville saw a chiropractor because his back was so bad and we hope it lasts to the end. After three days of hiking, we hitched into Lincoln, where we made it right back to the trail for our longest stretch on trail, 195 miles through the Bob Marshall Wilderness. It turned out to be our most challenging stretch yet. Two days in (of 7 days of carrying food) we were stopped by a small fire and rerouted an additional 15 miles without a way to get more food. So…up at 5am every morning, hike until 8pm each day with barely enough food on terribly maintained trails, freezing temps at night, hot days, more burned forests, but we found some instant coffee packets to lift our spirits. We saw The Wall, lots of cougar tracks and heard wolves + coyotes howling 🐺 We made it to East Glacier, ate like rabid hyenas + hitched into Two Medicine to organize our camp spots through Glacier National Park for our last stretch to Canada! Wish us luck. Until next time, keep on, keepin’ on ya’ll 😘

🥾Yellowstone National Park on the CDT through Wyoming, Idaho + Montana 🐻 What an incredible park! We hiked past boiling sulphur pools, geysers, and steam rising from the ground. We fjorded rivers, marshes and lakes where we saw bears, elk, snakes, beavers, butterflies, bald eagles, and a Sandhill Crane. We hitched into towns + villages to resupply, and met some of the kindest people who gave us rides. A massive Thank You to everyone that took a chance and picked up three dirty, smelly hikers on your journey. Good karma coming your way. Next, we finish our adventure in the final state of the trail, Montana. Want to see us, reach out! Want to mail us a pony or sports car to finish the trail on/in? Send us a message. Until next time, keep on, keepin’ on ya’ll!! 😘🤘🏽

Hello ya’ll! This section was Lander to Pinedale, 88 miles. Ville here giving K.G a break from writing captions to these posts. As I’m writing this I’m also filling up my belly with ice cream, go me! This section was our absolute favorite so far. If crossing the Great Basin in the last section was like visiting a porta potty on the last day of the festival this section was the complete opposite. What a gem of a place Cirque of the Towers is 🤩. We also were reunited with our great hiking compadre , Yay!

Whelp, we’re still hiking the CDT! Winter Park, CO - Lander, WY (441 miles) It’s been a diverse stretch. We had lots of snow, mosquitoes + downed trees to climb over in Colorado. We crossed into Wyoming, made our way out of the mountains into the desert and trudged through the Great Basin. It was hot 🥵 dry, flat-ish, windy + without shade. We went from copious amounts of water in Colorado, to long water carries between cow ponds in Wyoming. We are now wearing through our 3rd pair of shoes 👠 We’ve seen antelope, wild horses, deer, elk, horney toads, rock chucks, foxes, coyotes, snakes, grouse, pheasants, and cows 🐄 And still, we continue to encounter kindness everywhere. We’ve been given a place to sleep, snacks, sodas, water and beer 🍺 This country and world are full of kind people if you’re willing to be vulnerable, courageous, trusting and willing to talk to strangers. Next, we will hike through the Wind River Range. Can’t wait! Until next time, keep on, keepin’ on y’all 😘

Best + hardest section of the CDT yet! Thanks Colorado for kicking our butts 🙌 Tennessee Pass - Winter Park (105 miles). Most of the unmarked trail was summiting 13,000ft passes on repeat while walking the crest of the ridge. We think most people skip this section because there was no trail, only cairns to mark the way to the top of each peak. The views were worth it! We slept at high altitude (experienced crazy dreams) + walked the knarliest, windiest ridgeline to summit Grey’s Peak (14,254 ft/4,352m and the highest point on the CDT) on Ville’s 45th birthday 🎉 Thank you SO much to everyone who sent him birthday wishes + all the great friends we got to see along the way. ❤️ Best finish to the section? A group of ladies hiking near Winter Park who welcomed us into their home! Colorado, bringing the trail magic 😇 Until next time, keep on, keepin’ on y’all 😘
