Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return!
The fearless and courageous journalist Saleh Al Jafarawi, who had been continuously reporting on the situation in Palestine for the past two years, has been martyred today.

Since October 7, 2023, Saleh Al Jafarawi had been bringing daily updates from the heart of the war-torn Gaza, keeping the world informed about the unfolding reality. He tirelessly reported from among the people, amidst life-threatening conditions.

The enemy made several attempts on his life and continued to hunt him down, yet this brave journalist kept reporting until his very last breath. He was truly a hero of the Palestinian people.

There were moments when he was being carried on people’s shoulders, and even then, he continued his live reporting. Recently, when the ceasefire was announced, it was Saleh Al Jafarawi who rushed overnight into the streets to share the news directly with the people.

Today, this fearless voice has been silenced.
May Allah accept his remarkable and selfless service, and grant him the highest place in Jannat al-Firdous. Ameen.

This journey wasn’t smooth.
We faced countless challenges:

⚖️ Legal threats for exposing the powerful,
👊 Fake cases and even physical assaults…
But we stood firm. Because our mission was never about comfort — it was about courage.

From the streets of Gulbarga, we grew to represent the entire Deccan,
and even reached the international stage, when TRT World and Al Jazeera used our reports as references. 🌍

This achievement follows our sister page The Gulbarga Mirror, which also crossed 500K last year. Together, both pages stand as the largest independent online media voice of the Deccan.

All praises to Allah, Alhamdulillah. The Largest online Media Network of Deccan has reached another milestone as Our Flagship "DeccanDigest" page has reached 500K followers.
The journey wasn't smooth. We faced a lot of attacks, repeated shadow bans that throttled our reach and engagement, threats against our reporters, legal threats for news that hurt big people, fake case for writing truth, and even assaults for our reporting, but all of this was worth it, becs the mission with which we started never faded and the support from you all kept rising with it.
The voice kept going stronger. From Gulbarga we grew up to Represent the Deccan. And represented Gulbarga on International stage as well, when We tied Up With TRT WORLD And Al Jazeera network, the quint etc used our news as a reference.
DeccanDigest is the second page from the stable of DeccanDigest Network, as our Another page "The Gulbarga Mirror" reached 500K last year as well.

Massive crowd… Shower of flowers… Grand welcome for Afghan EAM minister in Deoband.
Afghanistan’s Taliban Government Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, along with his delegation, visited Darul Uloom Deoband on Saturday. A huge crowd of students gathered to welcome him. Muttaqi met with several Islamic scholars, including Maulana Arshad Madani, and also interacted with Afghan students studying there.
A large number of people — from youth to elders — gathered just to catch a glimpse of him and greet him warmly.earlier yesterday, Amir Khan Muttaqi described India–Afghanistan relations as positive and expressed hope for stronger ties in the future.
