Greetings, Freaky Monsters Fans!
I apologize that this Facebook site hasn't been updated in quite a while. So much has changed since my darling wife, Connie, passed. Those of you who keep up with our web site know we've kept publishing but I wanted to take a moment to list a few updates here.
Freaky Monsters #41 is available now and Freaky Monsters #42 will go up for preorders later this month at FILMLANDCLASSICS.COM. We also have a web store at https://www.ebay.com/str/filmlandclassics you may want to check out.
We plan to keep publishing Freaky Monsters until issue #50, which will actually mark the 100th regular series classic horror magazine I've editied since I revived Famous Monsters of Filmland in 1990. We've added new features, exciting new photo departments and, issue by issue, I'll be publishing as many rare Ghoulden Age monster photos from my vast collection as I can fit in each new issue. You'll also find some new titles and books on other subjects I've published.
I hope you'll stay with us and help share these creature classics with the young-uns who don't know the fun they're missing. If we old crimers don't share with them, a treasure trove of classic films will quietly fade away and wind up in the 99-cent bin at some flea market or bodega.
My sincere fangs to all of you who have allowed me to share my love for classic horror and sci-fi with you all these years and have graced me with you letters, photos and thoughts.
Sinc-eerie-ly yours,
Ray Ferry
