Today’s edition of The Oxford Observer will be the last.

This news site started eight years ago to bring local news to the Oxford community. It was after the Oxford Press folded into the Journal-News and residents wanted more local news.

Oxford was then a news desert and we filled the role of providing local news. But you now have the Oxford Free Press and factors at Miami mean we no longer have the resources to continue offering the classes to publish the Oxford Observer.

Check our stories this week including one about the SAVE act, ShareFest, OMA, Hueston Woods and several stories about summer events in Oxford. Thanks for reading our news site!
