What you’ll need:Meat mixture:Soak 1 cup yellow split peas the night before in water. Then bring to a boil and drain. 1 pack Ground beef1 grated onion 1 bunch each of Fresh Chopped tarragon, parsley, cilantro (or use dried) Half cooked basmati Rice Prunes 1 for center of each meatballSalt & pepper 1 tbsp. TurmericBarberries (optional)For sauce:Heat oil in a deep panAdd 1 chopped onion 1 can Tomato paste Boiling water to thin out tomato pasteSaffron (optional)Salt and pepper to tasteTumericPut some meat mixture in the palm of your hand add one prune in the center and form into a ball. Place all the meatballs into the sauce. Let it cook uncovered for 20 minutes ladling sauce on top of meatballs. Gently turn over the meatballs with a spoon so it cooks evenly for another 20 minutes then cover pan to cook for 15 minutes. Enjoy ♥️.
