Think Green, Live Clean.
World Environment Day isn't just a day, it's a daily process of making the right choices & living consciously. Take nothing but pictures, and leave nothing but footprints.

My first tree plantation drive with an NGO, Haryali. An amazing experience of afforestation of a mountain after a long trek up on a very rainy day in July 2016.

As someone who feels deeply connected to mother nature, I strive to live as sustainable as possible. It's easy to look for convenient choices, but it takes effort to make the right one on a daily basis.

I've been segregating my dry waste for the last 22 years. It all goes for recycling, as someone collects it weekly from my house. I don't drink bottled water & stick to regular filter water & carry my own bottle when I travel. I always keep a cloth bag handy on me when I'm out to avoid plastic bags. I don't believe in fashion trends & will avoid buying new clothes. I prefer to upcycle my old stuff. I wish companies would come up with better packaging to avoid all this plastic menace.

Savoring the moment, one view at a time.
As summer rolls into Kashmir, it takes me back to this day last July, where I spent most of my time, just enjoying these beautiful views from my friends hotel.

While I'm a person who can't sit still for long, Kashmir is one place that actually allows me to slow down & literally do nothing. I can spend hours just enjoying the views & savoring the sights & sounds of mother nature. Kashmir truly has that effect on me. The views from this place were spectacular & I could actually hear the sounds of the river flowing below.

Can you spend hours doing nothing in a place like this?

From beautiful coastlines to grand palaces, temples, to a hill station with a unique culture, not forgetting the capital, Bengaluru, a high-tech hub known for its shopping, nightlife & great weather year round. This amazing Southern State of India has something for everyone.
