We are proud to announce THAO’s extensive 2027 North American tour, making stops in NYC, DC, Boston, Nashville, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta and much more. Tickets go on on sale Friday, Sept 25 @ 12pm local.

THAO has also teamed up with The Ally Coalition to donate a portion of ticket sales for the 2027 tour to non-profit organizations supporting LGBTQ Youth in each city.

The tour comes in support of her new album, Show Me, out October 30, which documents her personal life as it underwent a reckoning – divorce, the upending of a home – and desire to use her voice for community + positive political change on a national and local level.

We are proud to announce Kate Nash’s new album Cailín, a love letter to her Irish heritage, due out January 22nd via Kill Rock Stars.

Lead single “Spilt Milk” takes a sideways look at reproductive rights that are being eroded for women and minority groups. Like a lot of Kate’s music, the track does not shy away from important yet difficult subjects. “Spilt Milk was initially written about abortion law in Ireland before they repealed the 8th (which only happened in 2018),” Kate explains. “It’s about not having control over your own body, not being listened to and feeling like the powers that be are getting bigger, scarier and more crushing. With the overturning of Roe v Wade and women’s sexual health rights being rolled back in the US this song feels pertinent to today. The song questions why the female voice is so ignored and why we’d be expected to accept this.”

The song is accompanied by a video from director Tom Beard. Cailín was produced by KoOoLkOjAk and recorded with Charlie Lennon.on the West Coast of Ireland at Stiúideo Cuan.

Feminist punk trailblazers heavens to betsy – Corin Tucker (Sleater-Kinney) and Tracy Sawyer (The Husbands, The Flying Tigers, The Lies) – will release their first project since 1994: baby’s gone on October 16 via Kill Rock Stars.

Today, they’re thrilled to share the furiously delivered second album cut “my secret”. With its urgent, stop-start structure and Tracy Sawyer’s pounding drums, “my secret” is a push to be heard as Corin Tucker grapples with the aftermath of sexual assault. This summer reunited for their first concert in over 30 years and are gearing up for a North American fall tour.

Longtime KRS artist Logan Lynn has joined forces with Portugal. The Man to release Trans filmmaker Cai Indermaur’s award-winning documentary The Pain And The Power, alongside its original motion picture soundtrack.

The film is making the festival rounds and there are advance community screenings happening over the coming weeks across Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

The 20th anniversary reissue of their long out of print debut album, Words Are Dead, is out now

Revisiting the album now, with two decades of distance, reveals not just a beginning but a foundation. The same careful interplay, the same attention to space and tone, still anchors the band’s work today. In that sense, the reissue feels less like a retrospective and more like a continuation. A reminder that some records do not age so much as they wait for the right moment to be heard again.

Celebrating 30 Years of Emily’s Sassy Lime’s EP from 1996, Dippity Do-Nut today!

High scoolers Amy Yao, Wendy Yao, and Emily Ryan lived a double life as riot grrrls. With a LP already under their belts, Dippity Do-Nut was their last release as a band before they split up to attend college in 1997. The 7”” grew their world and signature “fast & f**ked-up” sound, surveying life as Asian American teenagers and secret rock stars in Southern California.

Earlier this year the band played their first show in 25 years and exhibited their archives during the California Biennial at the Orange County Museum of Art.

This summer, feminist punk trailblazers heavens to betsy – Corin Tucker (Sleater-Kinney) and Tracy Sawyer (The Husbands, The Flying Tigers, The Lies) – reunited for their first concert in over 30 years and announced a fall tour. Today, the band is thrilled to announce their first project since 1994: baby’s gone, a 16-track, never-before-heard demo tape, originally recorded in February 1992 by Bratmobile’s Molly Neuman, who also provides liner notes.

The release is due out October 16 via Kill Rock Stars, available in two special vinyl variants, CD and cassette. The band is also planning a limited edition release of the original demo tape with recreated artwork.

Alongside today’s announcement comes the never-before-heard single “ain’t never goin’ back.” The thrumming lo-fi anthem captures Corin and Tracy’s sense of freedom as they embrace the artistic community of Olympia, Washington.
