Bruce Melrose grew up on the Kapiti Coast, and is a graduate of Massey University. He was a Wellington track champion over 3000m s/c and 10,000m and a NZ 3000m s/c representative in 1989. He raced in the IAAF Grand Prix 3000m s/c in London against many of the best steeplechasers of his generation. All Bruce's novels and short stories are published by BAM Press Wellington and feature the exploits o

f champion 1500m runner and coach John Kelly. Bruce lives in the Hutt Valley north of New Zealand's capital city, Wellington with Ali and their two dogs Coby and Jasmine.
